On June 28, 2023, DeBlasio & Associates was honored with a proclamation for our engineering services for the Lower Cape May Regional High School. The Lower Cape May Regional High School District had been served by an on-site potable water well that started to fail. As part of an emergency declaration, the Lower Township Municipal Utilities Authority contracted with our firm and a construction contractor to extend a potable water main to service the school site.

The proposed scope of work included installing approximately 9,000 linear feet of water main, fire hydrants, and water service connections from Seashore Road to Lower Cape May Regional High School, as shown on the below Project Location Map. The total construction cost for the project was $2,000,000.00. To construct the project, we assisted the LTMUA in securing approvals and permits from New Jersey Transit, Delaware River Bay Authority, Cape May County, and the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
