DeBlasio & Associates to assist Stone Harbor
to Lower Flood Insurance Costs for Residents

The Borough of Stone Harbor has approved DeBlasio & Associate’s
action plan to address the Borough’s pending Community Rating
System (CRS) level point expiration that may negatively impact
residents’ insurance premiums. The CRS Point system range is from
1 to 9, with 1 being the best and offering the highest discount on
flood insurance premiums to property owners.

Our team will work to develop the Borough’s CRS program to
replace the ABFE points that are scheduled to be lost. We will
develop a list of activity credits that will allow the Borough to
maintain their CRS Class rating of 5 and possibly improve it,” said
President Marc DeBlasio, PE, PP, CME.
